Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed on Wednesday in Moscow with Commander of the Libyan National Army Marshal Khalifa Haftar the situation in Libya, the fight against terrorism and the security in the Middle East and North Africa, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th November, 2018) Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu discussed on Wednesday in Moscow with Commander of the Libyan National Army Marshal Khalifa Haftar the situation in Libya, the fight against terrorism and the security in the middle East and North Africa, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu met with Commander of the Libyan National Army Marshal Khalifa Haftar. The agenda of the meeting included the discussion of security issues in the Middle East region and North Africa, as well as the fight against global terrorism and the resolution of the crisis situation in Libya," the ministry said in a statement.
