AJMAN, (Pakistan Point News - 06th Nov, 2018) A modern government is the one which interacts with local community as a reliable source for making government policies and improving public services, said H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
''We are living today in an open community that is highly responsible and conscious of its responsibilities towards it homeland. This community also owns energies and experiences to better serve its nation,'' H.H. Sheikh Ammar said while launching on Monday the 'Ajman Link', an e-virtual community that brings together the emirate's community with the local government under one platform and serves as a liaison point between the two sides.
''I am looking forward to see positive interactions and contributions that help the government develop the emirate strategic plans and add more development achievements,'' he stated.
H.H. called on scientists, professionals, academia, experts and innovators to contribute in government efforts to build a better future for the emirate.
Dr. Saeed Al Matrooshi, Secretary General of Ajman Executive Council,said Ajman Link would facilitate communication with competencies in order to engage them in setting public policies and strategies.
''Our hope is to build an e-data base for the government and attract experts so as to improve the government work,'' he stated.
''The initiative will open up a new phase of constructive cooperation and partnership between the government and local community,'' he added.
