Minister of Community Development receives Japanese Ambassador

Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, has received Kanji Fujiki, Ambassador of Japan to the UAE, at her office in Abu Dhabi, and explored ways of boosting cooperation to support the welfare and community development sectors of both countries.

ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 05th Nov, 2018) Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, has received Kanji Fujiki, Ambassador of Japan to the UAE, at her office in Abu Dhabi, and explored ways of boosting cooperation to support the welfare and community development sectors of both countries.

During the meeting, which was held at the minister's office in Abu Dhabi, Buhumaid also viewed the preparations of the Japanese team, who will be participating in the special Olympics in 2019, and Japan experience in hosting the special Olympics-Regional Games in 1980 and their organisation of the event during that period.

Following a brief presentation delivered by Fujiki on ways to support the elderly people in Japan, the UAE Minister of Community Development lauded Japan's efforts in this regard by providing ways of support and empowerment to the elderly to enhance the comprehensive concepts of their inclusion in the Japanese community.
