Russian President Vladimir Putin praised on Friday the atmosphere of his talks with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel held earlier in the day, qualifying it as friendly, business-like and constructive.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 02nd November, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin praised on Friday the atmosphere of his talks with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel held earlier in the day, qualifying it as friendly, business-like and constructive.Talks were held earlier in the day as part of Diaz-Canel's official visit to Russia.
"The atmosphere of the meeting was friendly, business-like and constructive. This is a distinctive feature of the Russian-Cuban dialogue. Our peoples are united by deep bonds of years-long friendship, mutual attraction, respect, and mutual support," Putin said following talks.
Putin said that he had discussed with Diaz-Canel Russian-Cuban cooperation, as well as pressing international and regional issues.
On Saturday, Diaz-Canel is set to meet with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to discuss implementation of large-scale joint projects.
