MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st November, 2018) The date of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Italy will be coordinated through diplomatic channels, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said in an interview to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, released earlier on Thursday, that he hoped to receive Putin in Rome soon.
"As you know, during [Conte's] recent visit [to Russia] the invitation of president [Putin] to Italy was discussed. The date of this visit will be coordinated through diplomatic channels," Peskov said, asked whether Putin was planning to hold a visit to Italy.
On October 24, Conte paid his first official visit to Moscow, where he had talks with Putin and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. Putin said following negotiations that Moscow and Rome shared approaches on many international and regional issues.
