MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st November, 2018) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel will arrive in Moscow on Thursday for a two-day official visit, during which he is set to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
This will be Diaz-Canel's first visit to Russia.
During their meeting on Friday, Diaz-Canel and Putin are expected to focus on Russian-Cuban trade and economic cooperation, as well as on their military and defense cooperation.
They are also set to discuss the key objectives of Cuban policies, including on relations with the United States.
A range of contracts is expected to be signed, including some major infrastructure contracts, namely, on the planned modernization of Cuban railways.
