ADDIS ABABA, (Pakistan Point News - 31st Oct, 2018) The United Arab Emirates and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia have agreed on a draft MoU in the field of manpower and domestic aid workers.
This came during a meeting involving delegates of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Ethiopian Ministry of Labour that took place in the capital Addis Ababa on October 29-30 in the presence of representatives of the UAE Embassy in Ethiopia.
The Ethiopian officials welcomed the UAE delegation and both sides hailed the distinguished relations between the two countries, underlining their keenness to enhance cooperation in the field of labor and employment.
The two sides signed the minutes of the meeting and the draft MoU, which was agreed upon by Mohamed Ahmed Al Hammadi, Director of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Deputy Director of the middle East Department at the Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Ministry.
It was noted during the meeting that the memo is expected to be signed by the end of 2018.
