MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th October, 2018) US President Donald Trump on Sunday pledged to visit the northeastern US city of Pittsburgh following the shooting in the synagogue that claimed lives of over 10 people.
Trump told reporters that he will pay a visit to the city without specifying the exact date.
At the same time, the president again slammed the upsurge of anti-Semitism, tweeting that "this evil Anti-Semitic attack is an assault on humanity. It will take all of us working together to extract the poison of Anti-Semitism from our world. We must unite to conquer hate."
A gunman opened fire on Saturday inside a synagogue in Pittsburgh in the US state of Pennsylvania, killing 11 people and injuring six others, according to the US authorities. FBI official Robert Allan Jones said that the suspect had been armed with what appeared to be an assault rifle and at least three handguns.
�US Attorney General Jeff Sessions said earlier in the day that the suspect will face charges that may lead to death penalty.
