Russia, France See No Obstacles for Meeting Between Prime Ministers

There are currently no obstacles for a meeting between the prime ministers of Russia and France, Dmitry Medvedev and Edouard Philippe, according to information materials for Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Istanbul for a quadrilateral summit on Syria

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th October, 2018) There are currently no obstacles for a meeting between the prime ministers of Russia and France, Dmitry Medvedev and Edouard Philippe, according to information materials for Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Istanbul for a quadrilateral summit on Syria.

Putin will participate in the summit with the leaders of France, Germany and Turkey later on Saturday.

"Moscow and Paris agree that at the moment there are no obstacles for arranging a meeting between the heads of government of Russia and France," the document read.

The last meeting between the prime ministers of the two countries took place on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on February 13, 2016, according to the document.
