WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd October, 2018) A man who was trying to gain an unauthorized entry into WTTG FOX 5's building in Washington, DC was shot by a security guard on Monday, the local tv station reported.
The unarmed suspect broke glass door to gain entry to the lobby of the TV channel, local Fox news affiliate reported on Monday.
The man was shot in the upper torso, and was taken to the George Washington University Hospital in critical condition. None of employees were injured in the incident, according to the media outlet.
Police are now on the scene investigating the incident. It is unclear yet what motivated the intruder to enter the building.
