MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 21st October, 2018) Ex-Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev told Sputnik on Saturday that the United States seems to be frustrated with an impasse as it decided to leave the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) with Russia.
On Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced the decision to withdraw from the treaty which was signed by Gorbachev and former US President Ronald Reagan in 1987.
"It seems to me that the US is facing an impasse in making decisions, and so it opted for this most irresponsible step," Gorbachev said.
