Multiple gunshots were fired at a shopping mall in Fort Myers late on Tuesday, according to the NBC news broadcaster.
"It does not appear to be a random act of violence," Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said, as quoted by the broadcaster, giving no further information on the matter.
None of the shooting victims have been identified so far.
