Gas supplies via both legs of the TurkStream gas pipeline may begin by January 1, 2020, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th October, 2018) Gas supplies via both legs of the TurkStream gas pipeline may begin by January 1, 2020, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said.
"As regards the TurkStream, its construction is proceeding as planned. As you know, Russia and Turkey have signed an intergovernmental agreement, and a relevant road map has been approved. Everything is on schedule. By January 1, 2020 it will be possible to supply gas via the TurkStream, via two legs, with a total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas," Novak said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 broadcaster on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum.
