Serbian Defense Minister Welcomes NATO Chief Stoltenberg in Belgrade - Defense Ministry

Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin has greeted NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in the Serbian capital Belgrade, where he arrived for a three-day visit, the Serbian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.

BELGRADE (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th October, 2018) Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin has greeted NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in the Serbian capital Belgrade, where he arrived for a three-day visit, the Serbian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.

"Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin greeted today at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. The welcoming ceremony was attended by Serbian ambassador to NATO Miomir Udovicki," the ministry said.

During his visit, which will last until Monday, Stoltenberg is set to attend SRBIJA 2018 consequence management drills set to take place between October 8-11. The exercise will be jointly held by the Serbian Interior Ministry and NATO's Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC).

The NATO chief is also expected to meet with the country's President Aleksandar Vucic and a number of other high-ranking officials.
