Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 5th October, 2018) The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Raafique in the Paragon Housing scam.
The two brothers will appear before the NAB on October 16.
The NAB has been investigating the scam since the last few months. The case came under limelight when the affectees of the project came out on roads to demand a fair and transparent investigation by the government into the Paragon Housing Society scam.
Earlier, there were reports that the NAB has arrested former Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MPA and close friend of Khawaja Saad Rafique, Qaiser Amin Butt in the case pertaining to the Paragon Housing Society scam.
Butt is said to have a 15-year long partnership with Khawaja Saad Rafique in the housing project.
On May 11, the NAB had arrested two brothers of Paragon city Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nadeem Zia. The anti-graft watchdog had arrested Muneer Zia and Umar Zia after the investigation in the land scam was extended.
