Punjab Prisoners IG Shahid Baig said that Hanif Abbasi was suffering from cardiac pain in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, following which he was shifted to a hospital.
Stents were placed in Hanif Abbasi’s heart in the hospital. Since there is no big hospital in Attock if he gets sick, that’s why he has been shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore.

The incarcerated PML-N leader was shifted to Attock jail on the directives of DIG Rawalpindi after his photo surfaced with Nawaz Sharif and others inside Adiala jail before the former premier's release.
