Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 2nd October, 2018) Former finance minister Ishaq Dar has come up with an interesting excuse for not being able to fly back to Pakistan.
Talking to a tv program, Ishaq Dar said that the doctors have warned that he will be handicapped for life if he travels.
He said that this is a report from London hospital and he has been sending this report to the court but they are not considering it.
There are rumours that I have been travelling around London.“Shouldn’t have I visited Begum Kulsoom Nawaz while she was ill?” he said, adding, “Should I not get out of home to offer Friday prayers?”
He said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) could not find anything against him.
There is something else behind this matter. Even international media questions me but I never responded, he added.
The former finance minister has been in London since October last year on medical grounds and has been declared an absconder in the corruption case filed against him by the accountability watchdog; later, red warrants were sought for his arrest.
