Pyotr Verzilov, a Russian activist and member of the Pussy Riot group, told Sputnik on Thursday that his lawyer had informed the Russian Investigative Committee about the attempt on his life.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th September, 2018) Pyotr Verzilov, a Russian activist and member of the Pussy Riot group, told Sputnik on Thursday that his lawyer had informed the Russian Investigative Committee about the attempt on his life.
"My lawyer in Moscow Dmitry Dinze sent a statement about the murder attempt to the Investigative Committee because it definitely happened in Russia. Actually, I was sent here [to Berlin] afterward while unconscious, which is why the lawyer is handling this and hopes to figure something out with the Investigative Committee agents," Verzilov said.
Earlier in September, Verzilov was hospitalized in Moscow after he said he was losing his ability to see, hear and walk. The activist was subsequently taken to Germany for treatment.
