An explosion in the northern Burkina Faso's province of Soum has left at least seven members of the country's military forces dead, local media reported on Wednesday, citing a local source.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th September, 2018) An explosion in the northern Burkina Faso's province of Soum has left at least seven members of the country's military forces dead, local media reported on Wednesday, citing a local source.
According to the RTB radio station, the incident occurred in the Soum's settlement of Petogoli at around 09:30 a.m. local time (09:30 GMT). The car which the servicemen were driving was blown up.
The RTB added that around 30 terrorists had been recently killed in the province in the course of an operation by the local security forces.
