ROCOR Suspends Joint Divine Services With Constantinople Patriarchate's Hierarchs - Synod

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) is suspending joint performance of divine services with the Constantinople Patriarchate's hierarchs, according to the decision made by the ROCOR Synod of Bishops.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th September, 2018) The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR) is suspending joint performance of divine services with the Constantinople Patriarchate's hierarchs, according to the decision made by the ROCOR Synod of Bishops.

"In line with the decision by the Russian Orthodox Church hierarchs, [we are] suspending joint services by bishops with the Constantinople Orthodox Church, as well as ROCOR participation in the work of bishop assemblies, which should be issued in a decree," the Synod said.
