International Narcotics Control Board delegation visits Dubai Police

The General Administration of Criminal Evidence and Criminology of the Dubai Police received a delegation from the International Narcotics Control Board, INCB, under the United Nations, during its visit to the UAE to explore efforts in the field of International Cooperation for Narcotics Control with the relevant authorities in the country.

DUBAI, (Pakistan Point News - 18th Sep, 2018) The General Administration of Criminal Evidence and Criminology of the Dubai Police received a delegation from the International Narcotics Control board, INCB, under the United Nations, during its visit to the UAE to explore efforts in the field of International Cooperation for Narcotics Control with the relevant authorities in the country.

The delegation led by Professor Wei Hao, Second Vice-President of the Board, met with Colonel Khalid Hussain Al Sumaiti, Director of Technical Affairs, and several offices and experts with the Dubai Police.

Colonel Khalid Al Sumaiti welcomed the visiting delegation, and said that the Dubai Police is cooperating with all relevant partners in the field of narcotics control inside and outside the country, and conducting arrests of dealers and addicts. He said there were keen to intensify the joint efforts by putting a clear work methodology and agreed on standards to achieve the desired results and achieve security and safety in the community.

He briefed the delegation about the projects and initiatives in the field of narcotics control, inspection of narcotics using artificial intelligence and the new narcotics added to the lists of narcotics and psychotropic substances.

At the end of the meeting, the visiting delegation was taken on a tour of the departments of the General Administration of Criminal Evidence and Criminology.
