In a tweet, Bilawal Bhutto posted a picture from the visit to Jati Umra and said that you never get over the loss of your mother.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 17th September, 2018) Pakistan People's Party leadership Sunday visited Jati Umra on Sunday to offer condolences to Nawaz Sharif on the death of his wife, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.

Later in a tweet, Bilawal Bhutto posted a picture from the visit and said that you never get over the loss of your mother.

“With Mian Nawaz Sharif and @MaryamNSharif today. The loss of your mother is never one you get over. The best one can hope for is fortitude, in the face of this irreparable loss. Thoughts and prayers with the bereaved family,” the PPP chairman wrote in his tweet.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, along with senior PPP leaders including Sherry Rehman, PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira, Rehman Malik, Sardar Latif Khosa, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Haji Azizur Rehman Chan and Farhatullah Babar, had arrived at the residence of Nawaz Sharif yesterday and offered Fateha for the deceased.

Opposition leader in the National Assembly and PML-N President Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was also present.

According to the PML-N sources, leadership of both parties discussed the role and struggle of Begum Kulsoom for supremacy of democracy in the country.

Asif Zardari said that Begum Kulsoom was a brave lady and she would be remembered for her struggle for the country, adding that her death was a great loss for the Sharif family.

He said the PPP was with the Sharif family and the PML-N in this hour of grief.

Nawaz Sharif said on the occasion that it was painful for him that he could not spend time with his ailing wife in her last moments.

He thanked the PPP leadership for its support, visit and participation of its delegation in the funeral prayers of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
