MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th September, 2018) Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has held a meeting with Russian Sports Minister Pavel Kolobkov, the Bulgarian government said on Sunday.
During the meeting, Borissov and Kolobkov "underscored long-standing friendly ties between Russia and Bulgaria in the area of sports and expressed confidence that the two countries will continue this cooperation in future," the government said in a statement, posted on the official website.
Bulgarian Minister of Youth and Sports Krasen Kralev and Russian Ambassador in Sofia Anatoly Makarov also attended the meeting.
Sofia has been a host to the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, which is slated to come to an end later on Sunday.
