She has been living in a slum beside a road in Lahore for the past three years.
The former journalist and poetess has even lost her mental stability due to this crisis.
Her family has abandoned her, forcing her to live a miserable life in a slum. Despite her mental instability, Rubina said that she misses her daughter all the time.
Parveen said that she is facing many difficulties in the slum, including unavailability of washroom and water.
Nonetheless, the poetess wishes to complete her life. “I don’t want anyone to take my life from me,” she said.
