Putin Congratulates 3 Russian Winners Of 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th September, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday congratulated Aleksandra Soldatova, Dina Averina and her sister Arina on a team gold at the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, commending their hard work, skill and artistry.

On Thursday, Dina Averina won a gold medal in the clubs event, while her twin sister Arina earned a bronze. Soldatova won a gold in the ribbon final.

"I congratulate your wonderful, close-knit team on the new triumph at the World Championships in Bulgaria. You worked hard to win this bright and beautiful victory, confidently surpassed your rivals in artistry and skill, deservedly occupied the highest step of the podium," Putin said in a congratulatory telegram, posted on the Kremlin website.

The 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Sofia will last through September 17.
