Asia Cup 2018 will be the 14th edition of the Asia Cup. For the third time, Asia Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 tournaments. India are the defending champions in Asia Cup 218, whereas for the first time, 6 teams divided in two groups will participate in the tournament.
Pakistan, India, Srilanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan directly qualified for Asia Cup 2018, whereas Hong Kong had to go through qualifying round. As per Asa Cup 2018 schedule, Pakistan, India and Hong Kong are part of group A, whereas Srilanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are part of group B. As per Asia Cup 2018 schedule, top two teams from each of the groups will progress to the Super Four round of the tournament. From there, the top two teams of the Super Four section will then play each other in the final. As per Asia Cup 2018 schedule, Pakistan Will begin its campaign from 16th September against Hong Kong and then will collide with India on 19th September. As per Asia Cup 2018 schedule, Super four round will last from 21 September to 26th September and Final will be played on 28th September in Dubai cricket Stadium. All of the matches will be day-night.
