Islamabad, (Pakistan Point News - 13th Sep, 2018 ) 2018 According to a Gilani Research Foundation study on “Experience of Voters during General Elections 2018” carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 65% Pakistanis who voted in the recent elections stated that they were accompanied by someone while they went to cast their vote. This press release is 3rd of a six part series of press releases from Gallup’s post-election study. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces, who claimed they had voted in general elections 2018, was asked “Did you go alone to vote or did somebody accompany you?” In response to this question, 33% said they went alone to vote, 65% of Pakistanis said they were accompanied by someone while going to vote, while 2% of Pakistanis did not respond to the question.
