WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th September, 2018) The United States has officially closed the office General Delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington, DC, State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert announced in a press release on Monday.
"The Administration has determined after careful review that the office of the General Delegation of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Washington should close," the release stated.
The decision to shut down the PLO office is consistent with concerns at the White House and in Congress over Palestinian efforts to encourage the International Criminal Court to open a probe into Israel, the release added.
