MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th September, 2018) Moscow residents are electing their new city mayor on Sunday.
The polling stations are opening at 8 a.m. (05:00 GMT) and will be working till 10 p.m. Moscow time.
Incumbent Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin is challenged by four candidates - A Just Russia center-left party's lawmaker Ilya Sviridov, Liberal Democratic Paty's Mikhail Degtyaryov, ex-Communist Vadim Kumin and Mikhail Balakin of the Townspeople Union party.
