Russian Ombudswoman Says Preparing Appeals to OSCE, CoE After Vyshinsky Arrest Extension

Russian human rights commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova said Friday she is preparing new appeals to fellow ombudsmen, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe following the extension of RIA Novosti Ukraine portal head Kirill Vyshinsky's arrest.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th September, 2018) Russian human rights commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova said Friday she is preparing new appeals to fellow ombudsmen, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe following the extension of RIA Novosti Ukraine portal head Kirill Vyshinsky's arrest.

"We will be seeking the release of Kirill. I am preparing new appeals to fellow ombudsmen, the OSCE and the Council of Europe. I ask the respected international organizations to make every possible effort to release the prisoner of conscience," Moskalkova said in a statement on her website.
