Russia Increased LNG Exports by 37.5% in January-July Year-on-Year - Customs Service

Russia increased exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by 37.5 percent to 21.1 million cubic meters in January-July compared to the corresponding period of 2017, while the country's natural gas exports grew by 6.3 percent to 130 billion cubic meters, the data provided by the Russian Federal Customs Service showed on Friday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th September, 2018) Russia increased exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) by 37.5 percent to 21.1 million cubic meters in January-July compared to the corresponding period of 2017, while the country's natural gas exports grew by 6.3 percent to 130 billion cubic meters, the data provided by the Russian Federal Customs Service showed on Friday.

Russia's revenues from the LNG exports totaled $2.84 billion in January-July.

Meanwhile, in July, Russia's LNG exports fell by 8.6 percent in comparison with June, while the LNG exports revenues decreased by 45.1 percent to $197 million in July.

The natural gas exports earnings totaled $27.2 billion in the first seven months of 2018. In July, Russia saw a decline of 3.1 percent in natural gas exports to 15.7 billion cubic meters compared to June, while the natural gas exports revenues grew by 0.7 percent to $3.4 billion.

�According to the Russian Federal Customs Service, in 2017, Russia exported 210.2 billion cubic meters of gas worth $38.1 billion.
