Russia, having withdrawn from the World Trade Organization (WTO), will receive only negative consequences and lose trade channels, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin said Thursday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th September, 2018) Russia, having withdrawn from the World Trade Organization (WTO), will receive only negative consequences and lose trade channels, Russian Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin said Thursday.
"If Russia withdraws from the WTO, we will only get negative [consequences]. Russia is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, Kazakhstan is a WTO member. Withdrawing from the WTO, [we will see] all goods going through Kazakhstan, we will not get anything... we will lose normal channels of trade, we will lose export markets," Oreshkin said, speaking at the Moscow Financial Forum.
