Oleg Osipov to Replace Timakova as Russian Prime Minister's Spokesperson - Chief of Staff

Oleg Osipov, the first deputy editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency, will be appointed as new spokesman for Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Russian Government Konstantin Chuychenko said on Thursday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th September, 2018) Oleg Osipov, the first deputy editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency, will be appointed as new spokesman for Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of Staff of the Russian Government Konstantin Chuychenko said on Thursday.

"The documents to appoint Rossiya Segodnya First Deputy Editor-in-Chief Oleg Osipov as deputy chief of staff, prime minister's press secretary have been submitted to the prime minister for his signature," Chuychenko told reporters.

The official noted that incumbent spokeswoman Natalya Timakova would resign due to taking another job.�
