Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping are likely to discuss international problems, the situation around North Korea and relations with the United States at their meeting on September 11, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said on Wednesday.

"The talks with Xi Jinping on September 11 will take place in narrow format, then there will be Russia-China talks and then there will be a statement for media ... It is obvious that the discussion of international issues will dominate at the Eastern Economic Forum [EEF]. There are not only regional problems, but also the situation on the Korean peninsula, all the problems of the international agenda, relations with the United States and so on," Ushakov told reporters.

According to Ushakov, the two leaders will take part in the round table on Russian-Chinese inter-regional cooperation, inspect the exhibition, and then have a working lunch.
