The Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, has reviewed joint operational projects and asset management programmes with the Roads and Transport Authority, RTA, in Dubai.
ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 04th Sep, 2018) The Abu Dhabi City Municipality, ADM, has reviewed joint operational projects and asset management programmes with the Roads and Transport Authority, RTA, in Dubai.
To this effect, a delegation from the Municipal Infrastructure and Assets Sector at the ADM visited the RTA to carry out benchmarks with the authority in Dubai. These visits reflect the keenness of the municipality to strengthen cooperation with the leading national entities and exchange experiences on improving performance and serving the community.
The delegation also reviewed the business model and procedures adopted by the RTA in its maintenance and operation projects.
During the visit, the representatives of the RTA stressed the importance of making joint efforts, especially in strategic projects between the transport authority and the municipality.
A team from the RTA made a presentation about the asset management programmes and projects it has undertaken, as well as methods of raising the efficiency and the development of assets. The presentation touched on several technical aspects, including lessons learnt and experiences gained in asset maintenance and management in previous years. It highlighted the importance of strategic partnership in providing the best services to achieve the vision of the leadership and provide all amenities and means of comfort for the people of the UAE.
At the end of the visit, the two parties stressed the need for continued cooperation and forging a strategic partnership to provide the best and convenient services for citizens, residents and visitors.
