Russia to Urge Probe Into DPR Leader's Murder at Contact Group Meeting - Gryzlov

Russia will raise the issue of an international investigation into the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko, the leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), at the meeting of the contact group in Minsk on Wednesday, Russian envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine Boris Gryzlov said Tuesday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th September, 2018) Russia will raise the issue of an international investigation into the murder of Alexander Zakharchenko, the leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), at the meeting of the contact group in Minsk on Wednesday, Russian envoy to the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine Boris Gryzlov said Tuesday.

"We will raise the issue of an international investigation into the murder of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko at the meeting of the Contact Group tomorrow," Gryzlov told reporters.

According to the official, the investigation should be "open and unbiased, involving all parties to the Minsk process."

Gryzlov noted that the contact group, which regularly held meet with the OSCE participation, should also be engaged in the probe.
