Local brands come up with ‘helicopter’ ads following Fawad Chaudhry’s statement

GFC Fans shared a post on Facebook where it claimed that the commute would have been even cheaper if the helicopter had a GFC Fan.

Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 31st August, 2018) The local brands in Pakistan have cashed on the statement made by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s commute to and from Bani Gala costs between Rs 50-55 per kilometre, which is cheaper than the cars.

The statement had steered a debate on mainstream and social media as people were surprised as to how a helicopter commute can be so cheap.

While several leaders came up with their remarks on the absurd statement, the local products have come up with some interesting advertisements.

GFC Fans shared a post on Facebook where it claimed that the commute would have been even cheaper if the helicopter had a GFC Fan.

“Helicopter Rs. 55/KM mein chalay na chalay, GFC fan zaroor chalta hai 40% tak ki bijli ki bachat ke saath!” they captioned the picture.

Organic skin care brand ‘Kishmish’ also made an advertisement where they are claiming to deliver their products via PM helicopter – in just Rs 55.

Talking to a local news channel on Monday, the information minister had said that PM Imran’s commute via helicopter costs Rs 55 per kilometer, adding that he has the right to utilize all the perks offered to his office.

“This does not affect the public,” he had said.
