An agreement on the construction of the infrastructure for Angara space-launch vehicle at Russia's Vostochny spaceport will be signed next week, an industry source told Sputnik on Friday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 31st August, 2018) An agreement on the construction of the infrastructure for Angara space-launch vehicle at Russia's Vostochny spaceport will be signed next week, an industry source told Sputnik on Friday.

"The deal is tentatively scheduled to be signed on September 7," the source said.

According to Russia's State Space Corporation Roscosmos, the first launch of Russia's modernized Angara-A5M rocket with increased payload from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Far East was scheduled for 2025.

Serial production of the carrier rocket is expected to start in 2023-2024 in the city of Omsk, Dmitry Rogozin, the director general of Roscosmos, said in July.
