Head of Russia's State Space Corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said Thursday that the hermetic integrity of the International Space Station had been restored following the discovery of a microfracture that caused an air leak in Russia's Soyuz spacecraft, currently docked at the station.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th August, 2018) Head of Russia's State Space Corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin said Thursday that the hermetic integrity of the International Space Station had been restored following the discovery of a microfracture that caused an air leak in Russia's Soyuz spacecraft, currently docked at the station.

The incident that occurred last night led to a subsequent drop in air pressure on board the space outpost.

"The work to restore the integrity of the ISS has been completed. We'll check it again in 12 hours after 12 hours," Rogozin wrote in his Twitter blog.
