MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th August, 2018) Russian flag carrier Aeroflot said on Wednesday that it was planning to purchase another 50 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft in the coming years.
"In January 2015, Aeroflot and SSJ100 producer Sukhoi Civil Aircraft reached an agreement on supplies of 50 aircraft. At the moment, the airline operates 45 aircraft of this type ... In the next few years, another 50 aircraft of this type and 50 MS-21 airliners are expected to be delivered. In addition, Aeroflot is considering the possibility of an additional increase in the fleet by domestically produced aircraft," the company's statement read.
