Says Punjab CM had travelled to Islamabad on a government plane along with his family
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 29th August, 2018) Renowned journalist Hamid Mir has claimed that the airplane in Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s viral picture was a government plane and not his private jet.
Talking on a tv program, Hamid Mir said that the Punjab CM was being criticized after his picture travelling in an airplane with his family went viral.
Mir said that when Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan was asked about this jet in a press conference, he said that he does not know anything about it.
The journalist said that he digged into this plane and found out that it was a government plane and not his private jet.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan had called the Punjab CM to Islamabad. Buzdar chose to travel on a government jet while his family was also along him who had nothing to do there,” Mir said.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar’s photos travelling along with his family on which was said to be his private plane recently went viral on social media.
Regarding the use of private jet by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry had said in a TV show, “There’s no issue if the Punjab chief minister travels with his family on a private plane.”
