ISI DG to be changed on Oct 2: Journalist

Says much can be inducted through the new appointment.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 26th August, 2018) Renowned journalist Mehar Bukhari has claimed that another Naya Pakistan is to be made on Oct 2 as the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) director general will be changed.

Mehar Bukhari said that an important appointment is going to be made in the first week of October and much can be inducted through this appointment.

The ISI is currently headed by LieutenantGeneral Naveed Mukhtar who was appointed the director general on December 12, 2016. The ISI Director General reports directly to both the Prime Minister and the Army Chief.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the biggest political force in the general elections 2018 as it managed to get 116 seats. The PTI after taking over the government aims to make sincere efforts to overcome economic challenges, corruption and water crisis.

With oath-taking of the newly elected National Assembly members, the first phase of the formation of Federal government has been completed. The PTI claims that it is committed to uphold dignity of the parliament as all the national issues would be discussed at that forum.

The PTI has also formed its government in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
