Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is set to make a state visit to France in October in what will be his first visit to the republic as president of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek government's decree said on Saturday.
TASHKENT (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th August, 2018) Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is set to make a state visit to France in October in what will be his first visit to the republic as president of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek government's decree said on Saturday.
The decree approves "the 'road map' to the preparation of the cultural and humanitarian part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. M. [Shavkat Miromonovich] Mirziyeev, to France in October 2018."
According to the decree, the government has charged the country's Foreign Affairs Ministry with engaging Uzbek ambassadors, who are working in Europe, in the preparations for the upcoming visit.
The document also envisages the establishment of a French cultural center attached to the Uzbek Ministry of Culture.
