WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 22nd August, 2018) A new robotic systems extracts oil and natural gas operates hydraulic fracking procedures to extract oil and natural gas automatically from geological formations, Haliburton said in a press release on Tuesday.
�Haliburton Company today unveiled Prodigi AB Service, a first-of-its-kind offering that introduces automation to hydraulic fracking,� the company said. �By automating the breakdown process of a fracturing treatment, Prodigi AB Service helps deliver better well performance.�
The service uses algorithmic controls and is supported by a Haliburton completion adviser who will tune the system to optimize the performance, the release explained.
�Prodigi AB Service helps improve overall efficiency, maximize the performance of perforation clusters and mitigate the risk of screen-out � (It) provides consistent design execution, better distribution of fluid� and improved treatment pressures and rates,� Haliburton said.
Haliburton has already used the new robotic system �with outstanding results� in the Permean Basin for Primexx Energy Partners, the release added.
