A police officer in Karachi had requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to increase salaries of Sindh Police
Karachi (Pakistan Point News – 21st August, 2018) A police officer in Karachi who had demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to increase the salary of Sindh Police has reportedly been martyred.
Media reports said that police officer Imran Jan was killed in an exchange of fire with armed robbers in Karachi’s Karimabad area.
SSP Irfan Baloch said that the police officer was killed while trying to stop the armed robbers.
In a video that went viral on social media, a police officer in Karachi had requested Prime Minister Imran Khan to not keep any corrupt ministers in his cabinet.
Demanding an increase in salary, he had said that the salaries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police are 100 percent more than the police officers in Sindh. Moreover, he had said that Punjab Police are also paid greater than the Sindh Police.
He said that he wishes when Imran Khan is appointed as the prime minister, he increases the pay of Sindh Police as well.
However, the police officer in the video has reportedly been martyred.
