Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed by phone to continue consultations at the level of Normandy format foreign ministers on the issue of the UN peacekeeping mission for Donbas, the Ukrainian presidential press service said in a statement Monday.
KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th August, 2018) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed by phone to continue consultations at the level of Normandy format foreign ministers on the issue of the UN peacekeeping mission for Donbas, the Ukrainian presidential press service said in a statement Monday.
According to the press service, Merkel informed Poroshenko about the results of her talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Petro Poroshenko and Angela Merkel agreed to continue consultations at the level of foreign ministers of the Normandy format on the UN peacekeeping mission in the occupied part of Donbas," the statement said.
