Imran Khan left for Prime Minister House after taking the oath where he received a guard of honour.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 18th August, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has taken oath as the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan.
The oath-taking ceremony was held in President House, Islamabad. President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to the newly elected prime minister.
Imran Khan left for Prime Minister House after taking the oath where he received a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out personnel of the armed forces.
The National Assembly on Friday elected Imran Khan as the country's 22nd prime minister. At least 176 members of the National Assembly voted in favour of the PTI chairman, while his opponent, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif, secured 96 votes.
