Russian energy giant Gazprom expects to get the permit to build the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the waters of Denmark in the third quarter of 2018, the company said in its Russian Accounting Standards report for the second quarter.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th August, 2018) Russian energy giant Gazprom expects to get the permit to build the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the waters of Denmark in the third quarter of 2018, the company said in its Russian Accounting Standards report for the second quarter.

"Permits for the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline have been received from Germany, Finland and Sweden. In addition, one of two permits has been received for construction in Russia. The national permits for construction along the gas pipeline route are expected to be received in the relevant bodies of Denmark and Russia in the third quarter of 2018," it said.
