Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will exchange views on the situation in Ukraine and Syria and discuss the US sanctions at talks in Berlin on Saturday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 14th August, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel will exchange views on the situation in Ukraine and Syria and discuss the US sanctions at talks in Berlin on Saturday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"Indeed, Putin will be in Berlin on Saturday, he will hold talks with Chancellor Merkel, they will make a press statement. As regards topics, it will be an exchange of views on all the major issues. This, of course, is the international agenda - Ukraine, Syria, the restrictions or their consequences that some countries are facing now in one way or another," Peskov told reporters.
The spokesman added that the two leaders would also address major international commercial projects, including the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
