Says Sethi will soon appear on a TV channel.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 10th August, 2018) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA-elect Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain has said that Pakistan cricket board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi is a respectful person but he will resign from his post himself.
Nobody will remove him from his post, Aamir Liaquat said.
He further said that Sethi will resign from his post within eight to ten days, adding that he will soon appear on a tv channel.
On the other hand, there have been reports if the PTI will change the PCB chairman after coming into power. When Najam Sethi was asked, he said that he does not want instability and disorder in PCB because to him.
“If I get a signal from Imran Khan or any of his advisers that he does not want me as PCB chairman and want to bring someone else, I will resign myself,” he had said.
If the post of PCB chairman is left vacant, the PCB election commissioner serves as acting chairman who then holds an election under his supervision.
